Our Story

For four generations and over more than a century, the Marchetto family has had a history steeped in viticulture and winemaking in the hills of Veneto, North Eastern Italy, cellaring and selling wine to nearby osterias and inns. Our great-grandfather, Giuliano Marchetto planted the first seeds of this family tradition in the 1890s and thanks to our father, Antonio Marchetto, we have continued his legacy and the family's traditions and techniques for over 50 years in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia.

We are a family owned and operated vineyard committed to producing high-quality traditional Italian-style wines. The Fraser Valley region’s warm summers and mild winters make it the ideal growing region for all types of agriculture including aromatic, fruit-forward grapes reminiscent of the ones we grew in Veneto. We cultivate these grapes personally and we believe in allowing the grape to express itself in the wine and allow the flavours to develop naturally, with as little intervention as possible.

We marry our commitment to tradition and natural flavours with state of the art equipment and modern day technology to produce the highest quality hand-crafted wine possible.

Bianco di Fraser Valley

Evocative of the crisp white wines of the Veneto region in North Eastern Italy, Bianco di Fraser Valley has a wonderful sense of balance and finesse. Subtle notes of tropical fruit, pineapple, guava, mango and citrus are in the aroma and linger on the palate. Handcrafted from Pinot Gris, Bacchus, Riesling, and new modern varieties, Epicure and Amiel. Serve chilled.

Pinot Noir di Fraser Valley

Pinot Noir is a wine that is truly an expression of where it is grown. Seasons vary and so does the wine. Our first ever estate Vigneti Marchetto classic coastal Pinot Noir di Fraser Valley is no exception, medium-bodied, light in colour but big in mouthfeel. Experience deep strawberry and bright berry fruit aromas and flavours. Hints of French oak linger on the palate.

Rosso di Fraser Valley

Rosso di Fraser Valley is a mixed red that brings the distinct taste from the Alto Adige region in North Eastern Italy. It has a deep ruby colour, like Syrah, and scents of cherries, raspberry and violets with a charming rustic purity. Experience a soft tannic sweetness and a hint of spicy oak. Serve cool.
